You can spend your evening enjoying local food or simply resting before the next day’s safari adventure.

03 Kaziranga Safari to Shillong

Start early with a jeep safari inside Kaziranga National Park. This long safari gives you a chance to spot the one-horned rhino, elephants, wild birds, and many other species. After breakfast, continue your journey toward Shillong. The hill roads slowly reveal pleasant weather and scenic valleys. Once in Shillong, check in and enjoy a relaxed evening at Police Bazaar.

04 Full-Day Shillong Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin exploring Shillong’s major attractions. Visit Shillong Peak for a clear hill view, then stop at Elephanta Falls, which remains one of the most visited spots. 05 Shillong to Cherrapunji

Visit Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, and Mawsmai Cave, where the limestone formations add adventure to your walk. The road journey to each point feels scenic and enjoyable. You end the day with a relaxing stay in Cherrapunji’s cool climate.

06 Cherrapunji – Mawlynnong – Dawki – Shillong

Drive toward Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village, where bamboo houses, gardens, and small nature trails create a peaceful setting. Visit the Living Root Bridge before continuing to Dawki. The Umngot River welcomes you with its crystal-clear water, and boating here feels unforgettable. Later, drive back to Shillong for your overnight stay.

07 Shillong to Guwahati Departure

After breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to Guwahati. Enjoy the scenic hill-to-plain drive as you complete your Northeast tour. Finally, get dropped at the airport or railway station with wonderful memories of Assam and Meghalaya.
